For Lenovo laptops in the VISTA system, you can use the registry modification method to allow others to modify the system desktop wallpaper, but make other people's modifications invalid after the system is restarted, and the desktop wallpaper will automatically restore to the original setting. As follows:
1. Press the Windows logo key + R to bring up "Run", enter "regedit" to bring up the Registry Editor .
2. Browse to: HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Policies, right-click "Policies", select "New" → "Item" in the pop-up menu, and then Change the item name to "Explorer".
3. Click the newly created "Explorer" item, right-click in the blank window on the right, create a new Dword 32-bit key, rename it to "NoSaveSettings", double-click the name, and click Modify its value to "1" in the pop-up window.
4. After modifying in the above way, exit the registry editor and restart the computer. You can allow others to modify the system desktop wallpaper. However, after the system restarts, other people's modifications will become invalid and the desktop wallpaper will automatically change. Restore to the original settings.
5. Reminder: Setting the value of "NoSaveSettings" to "1" means that the desktop wallpaper cannot be modified. If you want to reset the desktop yourself and make the settings take effect, you must first change the value to "0" and then reset the desktop wallpaper.
Note: However, there are certain risks in modifying the registry. Please back up the registry before operation and use it as appropriate according to your operating proficiency.
