ASUS UX21E series battery failure requires battery verification. (Machines produced after September 2006 do not have this function)
1. Turn on the computer and watch After reaching the ASUS screen, press F2 to enter the BIOS menu.
2. Use the left and right arrow keys to move and select to enter the Power menu.
3. After selecting Start Battery Calibration, when the following message appears, please connect the transformer to facilitate charging of the battery:
Battery Calibration Utility
< p> Please Plug-in an AC adapter to supply power.It will calibrate the gauge of battery now.
Initialized battery and adjust the LCD brightness.
It is charging the battery, Please wait.
4. When the following message appears on the screen, please remove the transformer and wait for it to be discharged and automatically shut down.
Please remove AC Adapter.
PLEASE LEAVE THE BATTERY RUNNING OUT OF POWER.
5. After shutting down, connect the transformer and charge until the charging indicator
