How to change the login and logout method of Acer notebook in Vista:

Step 1: Enter netplwiz in the search on the start menu and you will find a program to run (you can also enter it in the run dialog box).

Step 2: Uncheck the box above that you must enter your username and password to use this machine and click OK.

Step 3: A dialog box will pop up, allowing you to enter the username and password for automatic login each time.
