According to macrumors, Apple officially launched the new MacBook Pro equipped with M1 Pro and M1Max chips early this morning. At the same time, it is equipped with a 10-core CPU and a 32-core GPU. The GeekBench scores of the high-end M1 Max chip have also been exposed.

It is reported that Apple’s M1 Max chip has a single-core score of 1749 points and a multi-core score of 11542 points. The multi-core performance is twice that of the M1 chip in the 13-inch MacBook Pro machine.

According to this score, M1 Max outperforms all Mac chips except Mac Pro and iMac models equipped with 16- to 24-core Intel Xeon chips.

The multi-core score of 11542 is on par with the 2019 Mac Pro™ with 12-core Intel Xeon W-3235.
